Bugatti Veyron Mouse of Conan O’ Brien

Written under: Entertainment, Human Interest, Lifestyle

Conan O’Brien introduced the Bugatti Veyron Mouse as a new Tonight Show character Thursday night, not because it was funny, but because it was “crazy expensive” for NBC, which has now triggered search trends.

The Bugatti Veyron is originally a German car by Volkswagen which is a mid-engined full-sized grand tourer. The original car is credited to Ferdinand Karl Piech.

The Bugatti Veyron is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron. The man who in 1939, won the 24 hours of Le Mans while racing for the original Bugatti company.

Currently, only two hundred and twenty Veyrons have been built and delivered since its production in 2005. Production stopped in late 2008. But of course, Conan O’ Brien’s 1.5 million Bugatti Veyron Mouse is one of its kind.

LOL…with his annual budget having a surplus from not having to do shows, he should have lots of cash to dole out for “characters and props.”

Conan should be ashamed. How much better would it have been to spend the 1.5 million on food for the hungry, or a donation to haiti courtesy of NBC. This was childish and wasteful, and he jumped the shark (for me) with this stunt.

Calm down, Lyn. It’s not like they threw the car in the trash afterwards. If he’d burned a million dollars onstage, you might have a point, but I’m pretty sure the car will still be worth just as much tomorrow (likely more, given it now has a story attached to it). It can be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to Haiti, if that’s what NBC want to do.

Lyn, true it might have been a bit ridiculous, but I’m sure Conan has already donated to help Haiti.

He only has a few episodes left and I for one don’t want my last memories of the Tonight Show to be sad ones. Cheers Conan.

money he spends has to be for the show he’s not allowd to give it away or spend it on like personal use
