California Earthquake
Written under: Human Interest, ScienceA series of earthquakes happened in California today. These California earthquakes were prominently felt in San Diego, Baja, Tuscon, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Long beach, Beverly Hills, and Orange.
The biggest recorded so far hit Baja, California about 76 miles from the coast sitting at a depth of 6.2 miles deep. However, news reports say that there are no initial reports of casualties.

However, the United States Geological Survey or USGS warned that there was a risk of a small tsunami hitting the area. This is just one of the 4-5 recent earth quakes in the last hour.
According to reports, two earthquakes have hit the Gulf of California at 5.0 and 5.9 magnitude. Also included was a Central California earthquake at 3.4 magnitude.
