Chris Brown released a two-minute video that shows him apologizing for allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna. In the video statement, Chris Brown can be seen speaking directly into the camera and saying:

“I’ve told Rihanna countless times and I’m telling you today – I’m truly, truly sorry that I wasn’t able to handle the situation both differently and better.”

He also said the he “accepts full responsibility” for his actions and he promises to try to become a role model.
