In Cincinnati, everything is slowly getting ready for the 2009 Cincinnati Bell WEBN Fireworks show.
Reports say that people who went as early as Sunday morning still had a hard time in getting good seats to watch the fireworks show.
Some people laid down blankets with their names on them to reserve their spot. And to while away the time, many have spent their day at their spots picnicking with friends and family.
This WEBN Fireworks show event is an annual fireworks display held on the Riverfront, on Labor Day weekend. It is done in conjunction with Cincinnati Bell and Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks.
The first WEBN fireworks show happened in 1977 as a one-time celebration of the radio station’s tenth birthday. The event usually draws over 500,000 people to the Cincinnati Riverfront.
The WEBN Fireworks 2009 will be broadcast live on local TV stations, with WXIX-TV providing a live stream of the fireworks.
I thought the fireworks works was wonderful, I seen that their was alot of people their this year but I go every year and I don’t think that their was as many as last year.
