Facebook Privacy Changes Begins
Written under: Internet, Lifestyle, Pop Culture, TechnologySocial networking site, Facebook has now began rolling out the new privacy options to its 350 million users. Starting Wednesday morning, users will now see the “Everyone” option and get to see the simplified privacy settings page.
The use of the “Everyone” setting is most important and will determine if a Facebook post will be indexed by other services, such as in Google search results.

Other privacy options include “only friends” and “friends of friends.” There is also a “customize” option allows users to show or hide a post from specific individuals or user-created lists.
To access these options, users can click the new “lock” icon that appears next to the “share” button when a Facebook user updates their status. Any setting may be chosen as a default and the default option may be changed as desired.
