Farrah Fawcett Dies At 62

Farrah Fawcett finally ended her battle with cancer on Thursday, June 25. This pop icon who is best known for her role in Charlie’s Angels, will forever be remembered by her fans.
Farrah Fawcett died shortly before 9:30 a.m. in a Santa Monica hospital after a long and brave struggle with anal cancer. According to the news, Ryan O’Neal, her longtime companion has this to say about her.

“Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world.”
Meanwhile, Charlie’s Angels co-star, Jaclyn Smith remembers, “Farrah had courage, she had strength, and she had faith. And now she has peace as she rests with the real angels.”
On the other hand, another ‘Angel’, Cheryl Ladd describes Farrah as “… incredibly brave, and God will be welcoming her with open arms.”
Farrah Fawcett was first diagnosed with her cancer in 2006. Her fight with the disease was recorded in the television documentary “Farrah’s Story.”
