Harry Potter 6 Movie Tops Box Office
Written under: EntertainmentHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince took $79.5 million during the weekend, bringing its total earnings to $159.7 million since its launch last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Bruno fell 73% to fourth place from its opening-weekend record with only $8.4 million. The Sacha Baron Cohen film now has $49.6 million total in its current 10-day run.

Meanwhile, the 3D animated feature Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs came in second with $17.7 million. The third installment of the movie now has $152 million.
And lastly, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen finished third with $13.8 million and now has a total of $363.9 million for its four weekend run.
In other movie noews, Fox Searchlight’s romantic comedy (500) Days of Summer grossed 837,500 during it limited run in 27 sites in 10 markets.
Upcoming movies this coming weeks that will compete in the box office will be Warners’ R-rated horror film Orphan; Disney’s Jerry Bruckheimer-produced family action comedy G-Force and Sony’s romantic comedy The Ugly Truth.
The final series of the JK Rowling bestseller will be split into two films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One is set to open Nov. 19, 2010, while “Part Two” is scheduled for July 15, 2011.
