List of Laiya Beach Resorts, San Juan Batangas

Written under: Philippines, Travel

It’s summer time in the Philippines and one of the up and coming beach destination in the country is Laiya in San Juan, Batangas.

We just spent our summer outing there and our news staff thought to give you a good list of Laiya Beach Resorts which you can check out for your company outings and vacations with family and friends.

Laiya Beach Resorts in San Juan, Batangas

  • Acuatico Beach Resort
  • Balai sa Laiya Beach Resort
  • Blue Coral Beach Resort
  • Kabayan Beach Resort
  • Laiya Coco Grove Beach Resort
  • Laiya White Cove Beach Resort
  • Laluz Beach Resort
  • Palm Beach Resort
  • Porto Laiya Beach Resort
  • Sabangan Beach Resort
  • Sigayan Bay Beach Resort
  • Tivona Beach Resort
  • Triple G Beach Resort
  • Virgin Beach Resort

How to get to Laiya by commute:

  1. Ride a bus going to Lucena via Alaminos
  2. Tell the bus conductor to drop you off at the jeep station in Candelaria where trips going to San Juan, Batangas park
  3. In San Juan, Batangas, at the wet market, ride a tricycle or a jeep to bring you to Laiya

We don’t have the contact numbers of these beach resorts. Fortunately, all of them have websites, so just Google the exact name of the place and add Laiya Beach Resort to get their official website on top of the search results.

Also, there are many other Laiya beach resorts which we excluded in the alphabetical list. But most of them are small and caters to locals than tourists. But if you know a resort that should be in this list, then do leave a comment. Thanks.

Going via the Lipa City route is faster because of the Star Tollway. You can take a bus for Lipa City and take a jeepney or Aircon Van at the Lipa City bus stop for San Juan town. It is still a long way to the beach from the town, but it will be such a thrill getting there at last.
There exists the Association of Laiya Resorts Owners (ALRO). We do hope they attend to visitors’ needs and satisfaction and has a desk or center where they can act on inquiries, complaints and such things.
Thank you for the feature and Welcome to Batangas!

went to Laiya, White Cove this holy week 2010 and I was really disappointed. The place is nice but the crew is not so friendly. When we arrived, reception people were ok but they did not even offered to assist us, lead us to where we can wait till our room can be accommodated. Then, our dinner was served around 9pm already! Ang tagal ng set-up! It was by the beach and lighting was very poor, so you have to guess what kind of food is served. Our meal package is good for 3. We were served 3 viands (mixed veggies, 3 small pcs tilapia w/c i don’t even know what kind of sauce it has, 4cups rice, 2pcs small sliced watermelon & 2pcs small sized pineapple, 1 round softdrinks-coke/sprite). It was not good. Had I not requested the waiter for addtional food, that was our dinner “P316/head”. 2 liters of softdrinks was shared by around 20 people! The next day, my sis-in-law had breakfast first and she just got a small portion of food, when she returned at the breakfast buffet to get a second round, the crew told her that the buffet is only good for one round! Me and my hubby got our breakfast around 9am and there was no one there to serve/assist us. There were hardly no food left (tuna, egg, esp tocino-portioned into 3). Buffet lunch is by portion too! 1pc of each viand, though this time had 4 choices. Our ordered shakes/drinks took so long everytime as well as our ordered additional lunch. When we followed up, the crew we asked would not take responsibility in delivering our meals in our table (it was already labeled by my name and he said “di ko po alam yan!”. They knew they had a lot of guests, they should have added more crew to serve their guests! Or their few staffs could have been more friendly and accommodating. I felt they were very discriminating…sorry for the term but “yung feeling na ginugulangan mo sila” sa food…that they promote as “buffet” (1 time serving only and by portion!). We were suppose to have a relaxing weekend but instead got pissed with the kind of service we experienced at Laiya White Cove. I really want to pose this comment to warn guests who would go there… 🙁

We really like laiya beaches, our taste really differ according to our preferences, allow me to share some personal experiences:
    1) If you want private, serene and being alone in the world “no one will bother your existence” just simply relax & enjoy your day for me “ACUATICO”
Food, service, cleanliness, well trained staff they all have it. Ofcourse the place is quite small & their CR but for it doesn’t matter I don’t stay longer in the CR for me as long as it is very well maintained & properly cleaned & sanitized the size of the CRc doesn’t matter.
    2) If you love watching the fishes swimming & observe them how they live their li8fe, how they eat, how they swim w/o risking your life as the water is so shallow & you can find the corals & fishes right in front of the shore, it is “LA LUZ”. The food, the accomodation were just right to its price, the pace is clean & ofcourse the beach front really matter to me too. If you want snorkling they have the perfect area, if you feel like swimming the also have the perfect area.
3)For big groups who want peace, quite & private type of surrounding try “Sabangan” their beachfront is clean also & clear water, you could see few fishes swimming with you early in the morning or even in the afternoon.
For me I wont go back to “KABAYAN” I’m very frustrated w/ the beachfront, we went there a day after a rainy day & beach is very dirty, the water is very turbid, the staff could clean the beachfront like other resorts did but sad to say say” they just let the garbage slips away by time maybe, we even take a boat ride to Sabangan beachfront just to swim, for me its my worst experience, our group really prefer cleanliness of beachfront & clear water, when we arrive the nipa hut is dirty, the smell of the room seems like hundred years ago, for me they should bother cleaning it even if there’s no occupant to maintain it.I’m frustrated but ofcourse the price is just right, they are cheaper compared to others so that’s what we get too.

Acuatico and Blue Coral are the only resort recommended in Laiya…. Other resorts as the comment above does not value its customers…
Walang magandang service from its crew..
I warned all my friends, pero gusto lang nila maexperience going there but really disapointing trip..

Try Acuatico. It’s not cheap but everything’s worth it! It’s the best place for vacation and weddings! =)

  18. Mei Delgado says:

White cove is really a disaster. They don’t treat their guest very well…. They would even push you to the limit of your temper!!! tlgang papatulan ka nila at iinisin!!!

What we encountered was we ordered our dinner, not knowing that they did not forwarded our orders so we then waited for nothing at sila pa ang galit!

  19. shane says:

We also went to DAKILA BEACH RESORT we got that cottage #3. wow it was beautiful and so spacious large kitchen and dining area in the cottage. These are not nipa huts they are hotel style. The beds are huge super comfortable and Big flat screen TV on the wall very nice big bathroom. What a deal my wife and I found and for the whole family it was very inexpensive. It looks over a super beach and awesome blue waters. We were only going to stay 1 night but we stayed for 2 nights. All the cookware and dinnerware was provided. All we had to do was just bring our own food and drink. This place by far is the nicest place in Laiya. The service and hospitality was very good. I have there number it is 09293797724 You have to check this place out. They have a built in videoke and a LED magic ball light. It was a seperate charge but well worth it. We had so much fun there. A great place to go. Thanks Dakila for a great time. We will definately be back. Jerri

I can understand how folks coming to Laiya expect more for there money. I will tell you that our Beach Houses here at “Dakila Beach Resort” is by far the best bang for the buck. The beach houses come well equipped with eating and cooking utensils for each beach house. All beach houses have there own kitchen and griller. We are not expensive like others in the area. We do not offer food package deals you must provide your own food and beverage of your choice. We do not have a corkage fee nor do we have an entrance fee like other resorts. However,we do have a small parking fee. What we can offer you is a relaxing weekend in a clean Beach House with air conditioning and a beautiful clean beach to swim. No need to payout lots of money just to have fun with you teammates or families. Give us a try we don’t advertise much so we have been known to be the best kept secret of all of Hugom-Laiya.We speak english and tagalog. I know this is not an advertising site. I just need to let folks know that I hear there frustrations and want them to know that there are other private/public resorts avail to them so maybe that won’t feel so upset spending the money that they spend and not feeling they did’nt get there monies worth. Respectfully, fb page:Dakila Beach Resort or Dakila Beach Front Cottages.
