Melrose Place Remake Will Get A Visit From Amanda Woodward
Written under: EntertainmentActress Heather Locklear is coming back to Melrose Place to reprise her role as the scheming advertising executive Amanda Woodward.
She will first appear in the Melrose Place remake in an episode scheduled to show on November 17. CW television network has not yet said for how many episodes will she appear on the show.

In a statement released to Access, executive producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer says:
We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to Melrose Place. Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion.
Heather Locklear, now 47, was one of the biggest stars of the original 1990s Melrose Place. Her addition to the Melrose Place remake comes as it suffers from disappointing ratings. Last week the hour-long soap opera had 1.8 million viewers, which was down 21 per cent from its debut episode in September.
