Microsoft launches a new anti-malware product for all its users. You can download the Microsoft Security Essentials for free and have added security in your PC.

This free anti-malware product is a slimmed-down version that replaces Microsoft’s Windows Live OneCare. It is designed to run quietly in the background, only alerting users when there is an action required from them.

Microsoft Security Essentials also limits CPU and memory usage, which makes it almost unnoticeable when it comes to loading other documents and doing other computing tasks.

Before you download Microsoft Security Essentials, please be informed that this is only compatible for Windows XP SP2 or SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7 including Windows XP mode on both x32 and x64 PCs.
