More Android Devices Enabled for Skype Video Calling

The Skype app for the Android system recently rolled out an update that will now allow 17 more devices the capability to do video calling.

Initially just available to a few devices such as the Google Nexus S, the Skype video calling feature is now available to more mobile phones and tablets running at least Android 2.2 (Froyo).

List of additional devices now capable of Skype video calls:

  • HTC Desire (2.2)
  • HTC Desire HD
  • HTC Evo 3D
  • HTC Evo 4G
  • HTC Flyer
  • HTC Incredible S
  • HTC Sensation
  • Samsung Galaxy S
  • Samsung Galaxy S II
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY
  • Sony Ericsson Xperia ray
  • HTC Thunderbolt – Verizon US only (2.2)
  • LG Revolution – Verizon US only (2.2)
  • Samsung Droid Charge – Verizon US only (2.2)
