No iPad Allowed In Israel Because of Wi-Fi
Written under: Technology, Travel
The Israeli Communications Ministry has ordered the confiscation of the Apple iPad from overseas passengers in Israel. Which follows that iPads will not be allowed to imported to the country for Israelis.
The main reason for the move is the Wi-Fi which the ministry says that they could not come up with a means to test the iPad’s compatability with Israel’s wireless networks.
As explained, the ministry says that the Apple iPad supposedly uses low-powered “American standards” as opposed to the “European standards” on which Israel relies for electronics.
The lesson here, just don’t bring your iPad to Israel.
