In the movie, Jovovich plays psychotherapist Dr. Abigail Tyler, whom the actress says is based on a real person. The film will also show actual footage and audio recordings of Tyler’s sessions with patients.
Although the film claims to be a reenactment of actual events, some are still doubtful if the movie is really true.
Moreover, according to Anchorage Daily News, nobody in Nome, Alaska has ever heard about Tyler. Which is leading people to believe that The Fourth Kind is just another “Blair Witch project”.
When the paper asked Universal Pictures if the whole movie is a fake, the studio had no comment.
This movie is written and directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi. It comes out to theaters on November 6.
