One Tree Hill Season 7 Episode 1 Gets Mixed Reaction From Fans
Written under: EntertainmentOne Tree Hill season 7 episode 1 just premiered in CW tonight and fans are giving mixed reactions to the new season. Some liked it, while some are somehow not too happy. But everyone agrees that it’s too early to tell if this season will be good.
In any case, the main reason for this is that, the current season marks the start of One Tree Hill without Lucas and Peyton. It’s been announced and confirmed that Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton are not returning for Season 7 anymore.

During the last season, the story ended with Brooke returning to Tree Hill, N.C. from New York. Meanwhile, Nathan and Haley had settled into their respective basketball and music careers.
And lastly, Peyton and Lucas were driving off into the sunset with their new baby. One Tree Hill season 7 starts one year later from that moment.
Continue watching One Tree Hill in CW every Monday and find out how the story will develop this season.

If they are not going to bring back Peyton or Lucas- they should CANCEL this show! Sooooo dissappointed to have to find this out after watching the first horrible episode. Why did the CW not tell us this over the summer. Frustrated! Done with OTH!
Ok so this season started out very shocking. I was extremely upset that 2 of the main characters are no longer with the show. No pictures or mention of where they went. I dont know if I will continue watching or not. I will have to wait and see how next episode turns out. To many changes in characters will change the facts that we loved about the show.
I guess the season premiere was ok to introduce the new setting. But things either repeat themselves or stay stagnant, there’s nothing fresh and dramatic. Everyone has been “coupled up”, save for the agent and Haley’s sister, who were introduced and set up to be married by season’s end. Sure they will introduce some of the same old plot twists, but until the end leaves me surprised I feel like I’m wasting my time. I mean, it certainly felt like being part of a soccer mom’s kid’s birthday for 98% of the episode, and we all dread going to those.
well for me its either put Lucas and Peyton in the story line, or you don’t have a show. very disappointed. Their story is what got me watching in the first place. If it doesn’t go back to the way we as fans want it to be. i am not watching one tree hill anymore!!!!!
what!! lucas and peyton arent coming back!! the show was about them, yah i like everyone else but they just had a baby they just got married, you cant end a season with all that and then not even show peyton or the baby in the new episode, i love this show but it wont be the same without those 2, now they are gonna try and make the show about nate. it wont be the same im not watching it anymore
you people really need to get a grip. I was not sure I would like the new season either, but after watching 2 episodes it doesnt really seem that bad. I’m sure by the middle of this season we wont miss them a bit.
I was a bit nervous for the season opener, to be honest, ’cause I knew there would be no Lucas&&Peyton (Why the rest of you didn’t know that already, I do not know) but I think it was pretty good, considering they weren’t there! Maybe Haley will carry on with her superb impressions
Quite a few new characters, but I assume I’ll get used to them…Not so keen on the Rachel/Dan thing..I knew they were gonna have a relationship this season but the whole marriage thing took it too far for me..She’s the same age as his son, how wrong! :/
I’m waiting for more on Brooke/Julian. I like those two
I don’t mind that Peyton is gone. They totally ruined her character to the point it felt like nails scraping on a chalk board everytime I watched her. She went from this fun, deep character to just plain whiney and annoying. Milly is also on the same path. It’s just annoying watching her … and not believeable. Now, I would have serious issue if they did away with Brook as her character is quite versatile and believeable. I’m kinda likin’ the agent too. Actually, he strikes me as somebody more suited for the big screen or at least a lead character on a series. Either way, I’m still watching!!!
