Written under: Entertainment, Human Interest, Music
Rihanna finally broke her silence about ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and today, she spoke with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America and described the whole experience was a “wake-up call.”
In her very first television interview since the incident, the singer says, “It was a wake-up call for me. Big time. I will say that to any young girl who is going through domestic violence, don’t react off of love. F love. Come out of the situation and look at it in the third person and for what it really is.”

Rihanna describes her love as unconditional, “I stayed. I even went back after he beat me, which was wrong,” she said. “But again… I’m a human being and people put me on a very unrealistic pedestal. And all these expectations, I’m not perfect.”
Now, she’s hoping that her story and her experience will teach empower all the women out there to stand up for their rights as a human being and not allow her trauma happen to them.
