SAG Awards 2010 Winners | Screen Actors Guild Winners

The SAG Awards 2010 or the Screen Actors Guild has just concluded and we congratulate all the SAG Awards 2010 winners.

Top acting awards that night went to Jeff Bridges of “Crazy Heart” and Sandra Bullock of “The Blind Side” which gives them hopes for an Academy Award this year. They won the Golden Globes this year for the same roles.

In other SAG award, Christoph Waltz won best supporting actor for his role in the film “Inglourious Basterds,” while Mo’Nique’s searing portrayal of an abusive mother in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire,” was honored as best supporting actress.

The cast of the World War II revenge saga from Quentin Tarantino won the best ensemble performance, a possible sign of the film’s Oscar chances for a best-movie nomination and nod for Tarantino.

In TV, “Mad Men” won the best drama series ensemble for the second year in a row, while 19 cast members of Fox TV newcomer “Glee,” won the best comedy series ensemble, an award they won in the Golden Globes.

Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey bagged the best acting in a comedy series, while Michael Hall of “Dexter” won best actor in a drama series. The award for best actress in a drama went to Julianna Margulies of “The Good Wife.”

Kevin Bacon won as best actor in a movie or miniseries for Taking Chance,” while Drew Barrymore received best actress honors in the category for “Grey Gardens.”

Betty White, who is 88 years old, accepted a lifetime achievement award from Bullock for an enduring career that included “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls” and showed her sharp comedic chops.
