SkyGrabber Software Allows People to Intercept Downloads
Written under: TechnologyRecently, news about SkyGrabber has emerged – this software application allows users to intercept and download satellite data and Iraqi insurgents reportedly uses this to tap into video feeds from US drones.
According to the website where you can download SkyGrabber free trial, this application is an offline satellite internet downloader.

Also, it states that SkyGrabber is actually a Russian program and is run by Cherkashyn Vyacheslav in Nab Podeba, Ukraine.
The software basically grabs the signals that go out from a satellite broadcast (or even narrowcast), aimed from a satellite towards a specific location, and turn them into TV feeds you can look at.
And an internet connection is actually not required. By simply customizing your satellite dish to point to a selected satellite provider, you can already start grabbing information.
