Google Selling SketchUp

Web-tech company, Google, has announced Thursday that it is selling their Boulder-based SketchUp unit to Trimble Navigation Ltd. for an undisclosed amount.

The SketchUp team, which develops 3-D modeling software, will remain in Boulder, Google Boulder site director Scott Green said.

Should Facebook be worried now that Google+ is out of beta? Many say they should because the search company definitely has a lot of plans in store for their newest social networking site.

With Google’s vast hold of services, Google+ could soon be the central system to integrate everything socially – from GMail, to YouTube and even PicasaWeb.

Google Ice Cream Sandwich Coming by Q4 2011

Google announced Tuesday that music and movies will now be available in the Android app market. Moreover, the Android OS release for Ice Cream Sandwich shall unify the operating systems for smartphones and tablet devices.

Ice Cream Sandwich will rework the application framework and add new functionality with application programming interfaces designed to automatically reconfigure applications according to the device where it is installed.
