Kim Clijsters defeats Venus Williams in US Open Semis
Defending champion, Kim Clijsters, continues on her winning streak after defeating Venus Williams at the women’s singles semifinals for the US Open tennis championships.
She scored 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 against the two-time champion and earned her place for the Saturday finals. She will be up against Wimbledon finalist Vera Zvonareva of Russia, who defeated top seed Caroline Wozniacki in their semifinals match.
