The United States hockey team met Norway today for the Men’s Preliminary Round (Group A) Ice Hockey match at the Canada Hockey Place, UBC Thunderbird Arena for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
It’s a very important game for the US for a win would secure them a semifinal position. And currently USA vs Norway scores are 6-1 with the USA vs Norway playing the third period. Update: Game is over, USA wins with final score 6-1 against Norway.

A blue spiral light over Norway was spotted this morning in an arctic area. Many saw the glowing spiral light and speculations arise on what was it. The bluish green light looked like a rotating spiral up in the Northern Norway sky.
However, Russia’s defense ministry was quick to explain that the spectacular spiral light show in the sky above Norway Wednesday was caused by a Russian missile that failed just after launch. The suborbital rocket that was launched had malfunctioned.
