The Oprah Winfrey Show Ends By September 2011
Written under: Entertainment, LifestyleWhile holding back tears, Oprah Winfrey announced to her studio audience today that she would end The Oprah Winfrey show by September 2011 – 25 years after it began.
Oprah says “Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit.” She says she came to this decision after much thought and prayers.

Winfrey also thanked all her viewers who enriched the show in the past two decades. “I certainly never could have imagined the yellow brick road of blessings that have led me to this moment,” she said.
Oprah said no details of her plans in the coming months and after but she promises to give the remaining months her best.
“Over this holiday break, my team and I will be brainstorming new ways that we can entertain you and inform you and uplift you when we return here in January. And then, season 25 — we are going to knock your socks off.”
Many fans seemed to support Winfrey’s decision but expressed hope that she would soon announce another project.
