Later, a local police chief says Elin Nordegren, wife, used a golf club to smash the back window of the SUV to get Woods out. Thus explains the cuts in his lips, blood in his mouth and intermittent consciousness when officers arrived on the scene.

Saturday
Woods postpones his interview with the police, after already canceling his appointment the day before. He reschedules for Sunday. Speculation begins to spread regarding what really happened that night.

Sunday
Woods still refused to talk to the police but on his website, he calls the accident “embarrassing to my family and me” and “this is a private matter and I want to keep it that way.” Moreover, Rachel Uchitel denies the affair.

Monday
Woods withdraws from his charity tournament due to his injuries from the accident. He also cancels his scheduled news conference for Tuesday.

By now, speculation has spread that Woods was actually arguing with his wife and not driving the SUV. Joanna Jagoda, Woods’ ex girlfriend, is being speculated as the woman whom Woods is having an affair with.

Tuesday
Woods is fined $164 for careless driving. The case was closed by the Florida Highway Patrol. The name Jaimee Grubbs comes out. She’s a cocktail waitress who claims that she had a 31-month affair with Woods.
