Toyota Recall For Gas Pedal
Written under: Business, Lifestyle, Travel
Toyota Motor Corp. announced that the company is doing a Toyota recall for the gas pedal or accelerator pedals because it can get stuck in the floor mats.
Toyota this recall late September and also told owners to remove the driver’s side floor mats to keep the gas pedal from becoming jammed. Below is a demo picture of what usually happens.
The image above is by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It shows the accelerator interference caused by an out-of-position all-weather floor mat.
This is the reason why Toyota Motor Corp. will recall 3.8 million vehicles in the United States, the company’s largest-ever U.S. recall, to address problems with a removable floor mat that could cause accelerators to get stuck and lead to a crash.
