What The Fast Food Generation Should Know
Written under: Health, LifestyleAs more and more people are relying on fast food for their daily meals, not many are realizing the lack of nutritional value in most of them. However, I’m not here to tell you to stop eating fast food. Instead, I’ll give you some of the ingredients that you’ll get to consume whenever you order fast food.

- Citric Acid – the most commonly used preservative in fast food
- High Fructose Corn Syrup – the most commonly used sweetener
- Caramel Color – the most commonly used color additive
- Salt – the most commonly used spice in fast food
- Monosodium Glutamate – the most commonly used flavor enhancer
- Niacin – the most common nutrient found in fast food
- Soybean Oil – the most common oil used in fast food
- Mono- and Diglycerides – the most common emulsifier
- Xanthan Gum – the most common stabilizer or thickener
- Chicken – the most common meat product
Of course I know that this won’t really stop you from eating fast food. But just think about it and I think you’ll agree with me that you’re better off eating less or none of some of these ingredients.
