Willie Revillame Leaving Wowowee?
Written under: Entertainment, PhilippinesWillie Revillame has been the subject of widespread criticism since August 3, when he asked to stop the video inserts of Cory Aquino’s cortege during his noontime show, Wowowee.
Now that his suspension has been extended until September 20, he’s now feeling unsure if he wants to come back to the show anymore.
Recently, the MTRCB has required ABS-CBN to issue a statement on the controversial episode. They have also asked the network to remove the dance segment featuring dancers Luningning and Saicy Aguila.
When Willie Revillame was asked for his reaction on the decision, he says that he respects the decision of his bosses, but that he wasn’t sure he still wants to return to the show.
“I will announce my decision next week,” he says in a phone interview.
